Shanghai Marine Aquarium Scenic Spot (National 4A Level Tourist attractions ）It was jointly invested by Singya Group of Singapore and Poly Group of China with 55 million dollars. It was awarded the title of "Science Popularization Education Base" by the state and Shanghai, and it is also one of the largest artificial seawater aquariums in the world. The building has a unique shape, with a special exhibition area of Yangtze River basin biology and ecology.
There are 28 large theme biological exhibition areas in the museum, which are divided into ten exhibition areas, namely China, South America, Australia, Africa, Southeast Asia, Cold Water, Polar, Coastal, Coastal and Special Exhibition Areas. More than 450 species, 12000 rare fishes and endangered rare creatures from five continents and four oceans were exhibited. Among them, the most distinctive ones are the electric eel in South America, the freshwater saw ray and water shooting fish in Australia, the penguin in Antarctica, and the charm of the treasure grass sea dragon in the town hall. The aquarium also has one of the longest underwater tunnels in the world with a length of 155 meters, which makes tourists feel immersive.
