Dule Temple , Tianjin Jixian AAAA Tourist Attraction, National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit. It was built in 636 AD and rebuilt in 984 AD. Dule Temple, commonly known as the Great Buddha Temple, is a world-renowned ancient temple with a history of 1000 years and one of the ten scenic spots in Jinmen.
Dule Temple is not big. The main buildings are on the central axis. You can visit one building after another along the central axis. In the Tang Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of the Central Plains. In the Liao Dynasty, it was a remote area. Although the architectural style of the Central Plains had changed, it still followed the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty, which is very special compared with the ancient buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties that are still preserved today. The statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the Guanyin Pavilion is one of the largest ancient clay sculptures in China, and the door of Dule Temple is the earliest and most honored gate on the top of the side hall in China.
