The goddess Hall Located in Jinyuan District, Taiyuan City, the hall was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and has a history of nearly 1000 years. On the colonnade in front of the hall, there are 8 wooden carved dragons, which are exquisite in shape. They are the best wood carvings in the Song Dynasty and the earliest existing wooden carved dragons in China. The main hall is a square building, seven rooms wide and five rooms deep, with double eaves resting on the top of the mountain, and yellow green glazed tiles trimmed, 19 meters high. There is no load-bearing pillar in the hall, which increases the space in the hall. This kind of strange construction is quite rare.
There are also famous maid statues in the hall, which are vivid and natural. There are 44 statues in total, which are female images of different ages and personalities. They are treasures in the Jinci Temple cultural relics, each with vivid eyes, natural and lifelike shapes.
