Dragon Scale Stone Sea , formerly known as "Wansheng Stone Forest", is a national (Chongqing) AAAAA tourist attraction (Longlin Stone Sea Scenic Spot and Black Valley Scenic Spot jointly applied for, and was officially approved as a national AAAAA (5A) scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration in October 2012. It has become the fifth national 5A scenic spot in Chongqing, one of the "Twelve Scenic Spots in Bayu", and has been awarded the title of "Top Ten Scenic Spots in Chongqing" for two consecutive times. With a planned area of 4.7 square kilometers, it is a natural scenic spot of karst geological park type.
The Dragon Scale Stone Sea (Wansheng Stone Forest) is known as the "ancestor of Stone Forest". Wansheng Stone Forest is a collection of "mountains, waters, forests, rocks and caves". It has many kinds of strange rocks and steep peaks, mainly in the form of stone fans, stone drums, stone towers, stone buds, Jianfeng stones, mushroom stones, etc. The stone forest is lined with peaks in various shapes. The stones are shaped like birds and animals, which is called "animal paradise" made of natural stone by geologists

The Dragon Scale Stone Forest is the oldest stone forest in China. It consists of Xianglu Mountain, Liu Gong's Tomb, Lovers' Stone, Stepping Mountain, Shiguping, Thousand Pagodas City, Tianmen Cave and other parts. There are more than 200 scenic spots in total. Among these scenic spots, stone tombs, stone gorges, fossils, stone drums, stone fans, stone turtles, stone towers, and sedan car songs are called the "eight wonders" of Wansheng Stone Forest.

How to get to Longlin Stone Sea/Wansheng Stone Forest by car
1. There are tourist shuttle buses to Wansheng Shilin at Chongqing Long distance Bus Station and Chongqing Nanping Bus Station.
2. From Chongqing Nanping Bus Station to Wansheng (every 30 minutes), the fare is about 40 yuan and the time is about 2 hours (high-speed). After arriving at Wansheng, the terminal station of the train is Nanchuan Station. From Nanchuan Station to Wansheng Tourist Station, you can take a rickshaw for one yuan or a taxi for three yuan.
3. Wansheng- Stone Forest scenic spot (Every 15 minutes), the fare is 5 yuan, and the time is about 40 minutes (mountain road).
