Hanging Temple , a national (Shanxi) AAAAA scenic spot, a national key cultural relics protection unit, was founded in the late Northern Wei Dynasty, and has a history of more than 1400 years.
Hanging Temple is the only unique temple in China that integrates Buddhism, Taoism and Confucianism. Hanging from the half cliff of Cuiping Peak on the west side of Jinlong Gorge in Hengshan Mountain, Beiyue, it is famous for its adventure and ingenuity. The temple is backed by dangerous cliffs and faced with deep valleys. Although the space is small, the layout is elegant and the scenery is wonderful. It skillfully integrates aesthetics, mechanics and religion, and shows the splendid culture, art and historical civilization of China, which can be rated as one of the best in the world. It is composed of Buddhist meditation room, Buddhist hall, Three Buddha Hall, Guandi Hall, Taiyi Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Goddess of Mercy Hall, Mahavira Hall, Thousand Hand Goddess of Mercy Hall, Three Officials Hall, Three Saints Hall, Thunder Hall, Three Religions Hall, Four Buddha Hall, Chunyang Palace, and Air Plank.
The temple consists of three parts. The first part is a complete layout of the temple, built on the cliff. The second and third parts are really "hanging" on the cliff, and the wooden plank path connecting the two parts is more like floating in the air. When visitors walk on the top and look at the cliff below, they can't help hanging up.
On the surface, there are only a dozen wooden columns with thick bowl mouth supporting the whole building, which makes people worry that it will fall down at any time. In fact, the whole temple is "inserted" on the nearby rocks, and most of these wooden columns are only for decoration, giving some psychological comfort to people walking on it, which makes people have to exclaim the wisdom of ancient craftsmen.

Tourism strategy:
1. The Xuankong Temple is far from the urban area, so it needs to change buses for many times. After arriving at the station, it needs to walk a long distance. Therefore, it is recommended that tourists who travel by themselves charter a car if they are heavily loaded.
2. Hengshan Scenic Area has four distinct seasons, with large temperature difference between day and night. Therefore, when visiting Xuankong Temple, it is recommended to prepare enough clothes to prevent discomfort.

Tour Route
Tourists can first go up from the stone steps to the temple. After viewing more than 40 beautiful halls, they can climb up the cliff path to the Cuiping Mountain mountainside to see the scenic spot of Jinlong Lake.

Tourist Evaluation of Xuankong Temple Scenic Spot
@ Have fun : For me, I really like the Hanging Temple, but it is not allowed to climb on the National Day this year because of the rain and mudslides. But I think there are too many people. It is dangerous to go there. Too many people are too heavy, and accidents are easy to happen. You can buy the first ticket and take photos. My friends and I just took photos and left. Even so, a group of people have to rush to take photos, and all kinds of shouting are uncivilized. I don't give you any examples... Alas... It's hard to improve the quality of Chinese people. Send some photos we took.
@ Brothels full : The Xuankong Temple is a unique place in the world for its dangerous location, strange architecture, ingenious structure and rich connotation. The Hanging Temple integrates mechanics, aesthetics and religion into a perfect whole. I am trembling to climb up. I am sweating all over my head because of acrophobia. I don't know whether I am frightened or worried by the ancients. Can a few thin woods support it [] Actually, I think too much. It has existed for thousands of years. Recommended, four-star
@ Charm value : Tickets are a little expensive. When I look outside the scenic spot, I think it's a little small. 125 yuan is not worth much. I wonder if I want to go. But after hesitating, I decided to go and have a look. After entering, I felt it was too valuable. People in ancient times really happened to build houses on cliffs and narrow stairs.
@ Keep Sata, junior : It's worth visiting. At first sight, it's amazing. One or both sides of the whole building are embedded in the stone mountain. I felt a bit scared when I stood at the top of the temple. I feel that there are still a lot of people going up the building at the first time, and the protection is average. There are many people waiting in line. The earlier you go, the better.
