Tibet The area above 3000 meters above sea level is called the plateau area. The average altitude of Tibet is more than 4000 meters. It is characterized by low air pressure and low partial pressure of oxygen, which is easy to lead to human hypoxia. If the preventive measures are not appropriate, it can cause plateau maladaptation. It includes a group of diseases such as acute altitude reaction, altitude pulmonary edema, altitude coma, chronic altitude reaction, altitude heart, altitude hypertension, altitude hypotension, altitude polycythemia, etc. Those who enter the plateau for the first time or re enter the plateau after a long interval should pay attention to the following issues:
、 Strict and comprehensive physical examination shall be carried out for those who enter the plateau. Those with obvious visceral organic diseases such as heart, liver, lung and kidney, and hypertension above stage II should not enter Tibet.
、 It is also not suitable for people over 40 years old, fat or weak. Overweight will aggravate the hypoxia response at high altitude, and it is easy to trigger high altitude heart disease.
、 If you have a bad cold, you'd better go to Tibet after being cured in the plain area. Otherwise, it will aggravate the mountain reaction and even induce pulmonary edema.
、 Those who go to the plateau for the first time, it is better to go to Tibet in summer and autumn, because it can greatly reduce the mountain reaction, and the cold in winter can aggravate the hypoxia of bone and muscle. It is better to take a car to Tibet to gradually adapt.
、 After arriving at the plateau for the first time or entering the plateau at an interval, in the first few days, you should avoid strenuous exercise and activities, run and jump less, and stay in bed properly.
