In order to make it easy and pleasant for passengers to buy tickets and take pets with them, how should they handle air transportation for pets? Hainan Branch of China Southern Airlines has learned that only aerobic aircraft can accept small animals for random shipment. Small animals that China Southern Airlines can accept for transportation refer to dogs, cats, birds or other pets domesticated by families. Wild animals and animals with strange shape or easy to hurt people, such as snakes, are not small animals. The specific provisions for small animal transportation are as follows:
Among them, small animals belong to the category of goods restricted by civil aviation. Passengers cannot carry them into the cabin (guide dogs, hearing dogs and other working dogs can be transported in the cabin with the permission of the airline), but they can be checked as baggage or transported as cargo. Generally, airlines have restrictions on the number of small animals carried on each flight, so passengers must propose to carry small animals when booking seats or purchasing tickets, and can only check them with the consent of the airline.
（1） Passengers should apply when buying tickets, and also provide animal immunization certificate and quarantine certificate, which can be checked only with approval:
1. With the animal quarantine certificate issued by the animal epidemic prevention agency at or above the county level.
2. The animal monitoring institute will issue an Animal Immunization Certificate after the animals are injected, and the quarantine certificate will be handled at the same time with the Immunization Certificate. The full name of the certificate is the Animal Quarantine Qualification Certificate for Exit Counties, which has two copies in total and is valid for 7 days. When going to the airport to handle the formalities, it is only these two copies. China Southern Airlines will receive one copy of the Animal Quarantine Qualification Certificate for Exit Counties. The passenger's boarding date must be within the validity period of the animal quarantine certificate.
（2） Containers for small animals (available in pet stores) must meet the following requirements:
1. It can prevent animals from damaging people, luggage or goods by breaking, escaping and sticking out of the container.
2. Ensure air circulation, and do not suffocate animals.
3. It can prevent fecal leakage, so as not to pollute the aircraft, onboard equipment and other items
（3） On the day of taking the plane, the animals will be sent to the airport at the time designated by the company to check in.
（4） Except for the special permission of the company, the animals carried cannot be put in the cabin.
