Qinling Wildlife Park Xi'an AAAA Tourist Attraction is the first wildlife park in northwest China. It was developed in the Qin and Han Dynasties. The "Yichun Garden" was built in the Qin Dynasty, which is still small in scale. The large-scale "Shanglin Garden" was built in the reign of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. In the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the foot of the Qinling Mountains has become a famous royal leisure resort.
The park covers an area of 1.4 square kilometers, with a total investment of 390 million yuan. The zoo park is divided into four areas, namely, a pedestrian area, a car access area (a herbivorous area and a beast area), and a birdsong forest. It also has animal performance fields, small animal parks, amusement parks, animal hospitals, animal quarantine fields, rare animal breeding bases, famous gardens, etc. The pedestrian area is located in the west half of the zoo. Animal buildings include the Giant Panda Pavilion, the Little Panda Pool, the Primate Pavilion, the Golden Monkey Pavilion, the Monkey Garden, the Flamingo Pavilion, the Hippo Pavilion, the Kangaroo Pavilion, the Elephant Pavilion, the Parrot Gallery, the White Tiger Pavilion, the Marine Performance Pavilion, the Amphibious and Reptile Pavilion, and the Mandarin Duck Pool, the Yanya Lake, and the Waterfowl Wetland.
There are also Circus World, Marine Animal Performance Hall, Bird and Animal Performance Arena and Square Happy Stage in the zoo to provide tourists with wonderful and exciting animals and song and dance performances (the cost is included in the entrance ticket of the scenic spot).
