Cangyan Mountain Shijiazhuang 4A Tourist Attraction, National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, National Scenic Spot, a tourist attraction integrating natural scenery, ancient temple culture and ancient buildings, was officially opened to the public in 1978.
The total area of the scenic spot is 124.12 square kilometers, and the area of the core scenic spot is 62 square kilometers. There is Fuqing Temple, a temple of the Sui Dynasty, on the mountain. It is said that it is the place where Princess Nanyang, the daughter of Emperor Yangguang of the Sui Dynasty, became a monk and practiced. Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty granted the "Fuqing Temple", which was later repaired by successive dynasties, forming the current pattern.
Cangyan Mountain Scenic Area covers a large area. Tourists usually come here to climb the mountain and enjoy the mountain scenery and numerous temples along the way. It takes about 1.5-2 hours to climb the mountain one way, and about 3 hours to walk around the scenic area. There are cableways in the scenic area, which are suitable for tourists with limited time and physical strength. The most famous landscapes include the sixteen scenes of Cangyan Mountain: lock green at the Yanguan Pass, jade gargling at the Fengquan, the noon shade of the academy, blue brook and Lingtan, clouds hanging on the stairs, rainbow flying at the bridge hall, birds singing in the hollow with pearls embedded in the cliffs, cypresses on the cliffs, dangerous platforms, and sunset at the furnace peak. Among them, the flying rainbow at the bridge hall, the green stream Lingtan and the cliff Qibai are known as the "Three Wonders of Cangyan", and have the reputation of "Wang Yueqi shows a mountain, and Taihang's peaks are only Cangyan".
