Honglian Lake Hubei Honglian Lake Tourist Resort (formerly Overseas Chinese Town) is located in Miaoling Town, Huarong District, Ezhou City. The establishment of the resort has expanded the channels for attracting foreign investment in Hubei Province and filled the gap in Hubei tourist resort.
The main water body where the Honglian Lake Resort is located is Honglian Lake, with a lake surface area of about 5.5 square kilometers. During the wet season every year, the lake water can flow into Xuejiagou through Changgang and Ya'er Lake, and finally into the Yangtze River.
The water level of Honglian Lake is artificially regulated, the water quality is pure, and it can be drunk according to the water quality monitoring report. Honglian Lake Tourist Resort has the location advantage of connecting the Three Gorges, Pudong and Zhongtuo Wuhan. It is adjacent to Wuhan East Lake High tech Development Zone, China Optics Valley and Gedian Economic Development Zone. It has beautiful scenery, rich resources and extremely broad development space. In 1994, the resort was approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province as the first provincial tourist resort, It is a large comprehensive project with 5.5 square kilometers of Honglian Lake as the center, covering a planned area of 24 square kilometers and a controlled area of 53 square kilometers, integrating tourism and vacation, home leisure, sports, science and education, business and trade.
