Not far from the north side of the underground forest, Erdaobaihe River passes through a 13 meter long cave, where there are six orderly arranged tree fossil remains. These tree shaped stone forests were formed about one million years ago. There are also cold springs all over the forest. You can drink some spring water in midsummer to feel the cool and icy.
