zhangjiajie national forest park National (Hunan) AAAAA Tourist Attraction. It is located in Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Zhangjiajie belonged to Chaotian Mountain in ancient times. It was named after Zhang Zaihong, a member of the Zhenyi people of the Ming Dynasty, who set up a government office here because of his "bestowed officials". In February 2004, with the approval of UNESCO, it was included in the UNESCO World Geoparks Network Directory and became one of the first world geoparks.

Since 1991, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park has held an international forest protection festival, attracting a large number of tourists. The strange peak forest is a major feature of Zhangjiajie's landscape. It is famous for the majesty of Huangshi Stronghold, the seclusion of Jinbian Stream, the wonder of Yuan's family, the danger of Yaozi Stronghold, the beauty of Pipa Stream, and the wild of Sandao Valley.
