Pavilion of Prince Teng The National (Jiangxi Nanchang) AAAA Tourist Attraction is famous for Wang Bo's "Preface to Tengwang Pavilion", one of the "Three Famous Buildings in South China" and the landmark of Nanchang. It is also known as the "Three Famous Towers in the South of the Yangtze River" with the Yellow Crane Tower in Hubei and Yueyang Tower in Hunan. The Tengwang Pavilion, built in the fourth year of Yonghui in the Tang Dynasty, was named after Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. In ancient times, it was regarded as an auspicious geomantic architecture, and was valued and protected in all dynasties.
Despite repeated destruction and construction, today's buildings have been renovated in modern times, and it is hard to feel the magnificence of the ancients' "sunset and lone ducks fly together, and the autumn waters grow in the same color of the sky", but it is still a must for people to come to Nanchang scenic spot one of. It's very ritual to see Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang 。
The scenic spot is mainly composed of the main pavilion of Tengwang Pavilion and small gardens on the north and south sides. The main purpose of visitors here is to climb the tower and look far. The main pavilion adopts the format of "bright, dark and seven". From the outside, the main pavilion is a building with three floors and an ambulatory. In fact, it has three dark floors and one equipment floor, plus two floors of bases, a total of nine floors:
The first floor is the preface hall, with white marble "Wind from Time Send Tengwang Pavilion", arch couplets inscribed by Mao Zedong, plaques and couplets written by many famous artists;
The second floor is the dark floor, with more than 80 outstanding figures in Jiangxi from the pre Qin period to the end of the Ming Dynasty, including Tao Yuanming, Yang Wanli, Wen Tianxiang, Wang Anshi, Tang Xianzu and other well-known figures;
Third floor: there is a teahouse in the north ear hall, where you can have a tea break;
The fourth floor is similar to the second floor: the walls are murals reflecting the landscape of Jiangxi;
The fifth floor is the essence of the whole Tengwang Pavilion, with Su Shi's Preface to Tengwang Pavilion carved on copper plate, a statue of Wang Bo holding a wine cup beside it, and a panoramic model of Tengwang Pavilion in the center of the east hall;
On the next floor is the antique stage, where there will be an ancient costume show every hour. In addition to the main pavilion, the local government has also continuously improved the supporting facilities around the main pavilion, gradually forming an antique building group in the west of Nanchang.
Tourism strategy : The ancient stage on the top floor performs ancient costume songs and dances every day at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 14:30, 15:30 and 16:30.
