Tianjin History Museum It is a provincial history museum in China. Located in Guanghua Road, Hedong District, Tianjin. The museum was established in June 1952 on the basis of the merger of the original Tianjin First Museum and Tianjin Second Museum. In October of the same year, the original Tianjin Art Museum was incorporated. It was opened to the outside world in May 1953. At the end of 1955, it took over the former North China Expo Museum and moved the site from Erwei Road, Nankai District to Machang Road, Hexi District.

During the Cultural Revolution, the museum was merged with Tianjin Art Museum, Tianjin Natural History Museum, Tianjin Painted Sculpture Studio and other units, and was temporarily renamed Tianjin Museum. In 1974, the Tianjin History Museum was separated from the above museums and restored its original name. The museum site was moved to Guanghua Road, Hedong District.

Ticket price of Tianjin History Museum: 5 yuan for adults and 3 yuan for students in the basic exhibition hall. The first Saturday of every month is a public free open day.
