Haxian Island , located in Changhai County, Dalian City, Liaoning Province (a point near Changhai County on the map), Haxian Island is 4.84km long and 1.02km wide, which looks like Yuanbao. Haxian Island has a good economic foundation. It is the only administrative village in Changhai County that has not fully implemented the reform of the property rights system. There are 1380 floating rafts for mariculture, mainly for the cultivation and processing of shrimp scallops, bay scallops, chlamys farreri, oysters and other varieties. Two Elephant Trunk Mountains and Dawang Mountains on Haxian Island with an altitude of more than 100 meters are separated at the east and west ends. There are luxuriant forests and rich vegetation on the mountains, including pine, oak, locust, wild chestnut, mountain prickly ash and other shrubs, wild vines and climbing plants. Wild flowers keep blooming all the year round, including winter jasmine (locally known as monk's head flower), yellow flower and other wild flowers. In autumn, there are wild chrysanthemums, red beans and red vines climbing all over the cliff. The south side of Haxian Island is semi surrounded by marine erosion rocks, reefs and caves, with a unique landform.

How to get to Haxian Island ：
By bus: Take a bus from Dalian to Pikou Port in Pulandian. The fare is about 35 yuan. It takes about 2 hours to take a boat from Pikou Port to Haxian Island.
Self driving
1. Drive along Shenyang Dalian Expressway to Paotai Town of Wafangdian Section (get off at the exit of the original "Zhuanshantou" Expressway), and then follow the road signs to reach Pikou Port.
2. Drive along Shenyang Dalian Expressway to Pulandian Section (at the exit of "Shihe" Expressway, this section is clearly marked and the road condition is good), and follow the road signs to reach Pikou Port.
3. Drive along Huanghai Avenue from Dalian to the exit of Yangshufang Highway, and then arrive at Pikou Port according to the highway signs. You don't need to take the train to Dalian Station, but get off at Pulandian Railway Station, and then take a bus to Pikou Port in front of the station.
