The Beaches (Old name: Huiquan Bathing Beach), a national (Qingdao, Shandong) AAAA tourist attraction, has a 580 meter long and 40 meter wide beach, which was once the largest bathing beach in Asia. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and verdant trees. From July to September every year, the First Bathing Beach is full of tourists. It was built in 1901. This is the essence of Qingdao seaside scenic spot. It is half moon shaped, wide and flat. There are no hidden reefs, gullies or eddies. The water area is 580 meters × 500 meters. At the beginning of the construction of the bathing place, it was exclusively for foreigners to take a bath. Chinese people were not allowed to enter, and only about 100 people took a bath every year. The bathhouse has been equipped with official and civilian facilities.
