Trestle , commonly known as Qianhai Pier, Nanhai Pier and Grand Pier. The AAAA tourist attraction in Qingdao, Shandong Province is a 440 meter long sea corridor extending from land to sea, and is regarded as an important symbol of Qingdao. It is the earliest military dedicated artificial wharf in Qingdao. After Germany occupied Qingdao, the trestle became a freight terminal.

The Zhanqiao Pier has a history of more than 100 years. She has witnessed the humiliation of Qingdao, as well as its construction and development. In 1891, the Qing government issued an edict to establish in Qingdao (then Jiaoao). In 1892, the Qing government sent Zhang Gaoyuan, the chief soldier of Dengzhou, to garrison in Qingdao with four battalions of soldiers. In order to facilitate the transportation of military supplies, two wharves were built, one of which is today's trestle, which is 200 meters long and 10 meters wide. The wharf has many original titles, including Navy Pier, Qianhai Pier, Nanhai Pier, Li Hongzhang Pier, Grand Pier, etc.
