Manchukuo Palace Museum National 5A Tourist Attraction. Located in the northeast corner of Changchun City, it restores the environment where Puyi once lived and worked, and displays a large number of historical materials and cultural relics, so that people can understand the first half of the last emperor's life and the criminal evidence of the Japanese invaders in China.
On August 15, 1945, Japan surrendered unconditionally. After the restoration of Northeast China, the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo was occupied by some units of society and severely damaged. On December 24, 1962, with the approval of the Jilin Provincial Government, the exhibition hall of the puppet imperial palace was established (after the puppet imperial palace was put under the management of Changchun in July 2000, it was renamed the puppet imperial palace museum). Later, it was forced to stop due to the outbreak of the "Cultural Revolution". The Imperial Palace of Manchukuo was once again occupied by all sectors of society. On August 9, 1982, Jilin Provincial Government approved the restoration of the "Manchukuo Palace Exhibition Hall", which was officially opened to the public in 1984.

Tourists evaluate the scenic spots of the Imperial Palace Museum of Manchukuo

@ Parity : Maybe it's because I like history, so I think this is a must come scenic spot in Changchun. It's cold in winter, but there are not many people. You can visit it quietly. This is a good place to learn about Pu Yi and the series of conspiracies of the Kwantung invaders in Manchukuo. This place witnessed the dark days more than 80 years ago, which is worth recalling.

@ Part I and Part II This is the temporary residence of Puyi when he was a puppet emperor in the puppet Manchukuo. It is also the "prison" set for him by the Japanese. Since Puyi fled after Japan's defeat, this place was once used as the office of non-governmental organizations, so 90% of the decorations and objects here are not authentic, and they were copied later. The ticket is 80 yuan. If you need to explain, you need to buy an additional 60 yuan for the explanation. The staff will send a guide to explain the whole process for you. But because of the guide, you are not free to move. Their speed is very fast, and they don't give you time to take pictures, but you can ask for it on your own initiative. Although the full explanation is fast, it still takes about 2 hours. Although the place is not very large, there are many rooms going out and in. I like it here very much.

@ Cat seller : The Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo is located in the urban area of Changchun. It used to be very convenient. You can look back on Puyi's life from emperor to citizen there. That history is hard to avoid. Before leaving, I found a little squirrel in the Eastern Imperial Garden who was happy to find food. I didn't feel happy, but I thought he was happy.
